The fat udon noodles are really the key in a fried udon dish. I used to buy the packaged cooked fresh udon while living in Japan. It's quite hard to find this type in the US, and your next best option is packaged frozen udon.

The ingredients needed to make Fried udon:
- Take udon
- Get brokolli
- Take ginger
- Get garlic
- Get spring onion (white part)
- Take sesame seed
- Get sesame oil

Udon is Japanese, but the Malaysian-style udon can be found at restaurants in Malaysia. In my recipe, I used fish cakes, which is a popular ingredient in many Malaysian noodle dishes. With some shredded cabbage, shrimp, mushroom, carrot, and the generous use of sweet soy sauce, this humble Malaysian-style fried udon takes me back. Steps to make Fried udon:
- Prepared all the igredients like in the picture below
- Cooked udon, wash and drain. add little bit of sesame oil so the noddles will not stick together
- Stir fry garlic, ginger, spring onion and sesame seed.
- Put brokolli in and add little bit of water. let brokolli done
- If brokolli become soft put udon in. add soy sauce. mix well
