- Wash the matumbo under running water.
- Cut the matumbo into small pieces.
- Put the matumbo into a clean sufuria, add three cups of water and boil until tender. Ensure all the water is used up.
- Start frying using the fat in the matumbo. If not enough according to your taste add some cooking oil.
- When the matumbo turns brown, add chopped onion and cook for some time. Then add tomato, dhania and salt.
