Pumpkin is one of the most popular of current trending foods on earth. It’s simple, it is fast, it tastes delicious. It is enjoyed by millions every day. Pumpkin is something that I’ve loved my whole life. They are nice and they look fantastic.
Cooking the pumpkin and the spices in the saucepan eliminates any raw squash flavor and makes the spices toastier. And the black pepper gives this latte a nice kick. A pumpkin is a cultivar of winter squash that is round with smooth, slightly ribbed skin, and is most often deep yellow to orange in coloration.

The ingredients needed to make Pumpkin:
- Get 2 lb pumpkin, peeled & cubed
- Prepare 6 clove garlic
- Prepare 1 medium onion thinly sliced
- Prepare 4 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
- Take 1 tsp roasted ground cumin ( geera)
- Prepare 1 tsp kosher salt to taste
- Get 2 tsp brown sugar
- Get slice habenero or scotch bonnet pepper( optional)

Steps to make Pumpkin:
- Scrub the outside of pumpkin, pat dry, peel, scrape out seeds and cube
- Grate garlic, slice onion and hot pepper if using
- Heat oil in pot over medium heat, add onion and hot pepper ( if using) ,cook until onion is ligth golden brown add garlic and cook until translucent
- Add pumpkin stir to cost with oil, reduce heat to low,cover and cook till tender, stir occassionally so it doesn't stick
- When pumpkin becomes tender use the back of a spoon and mash until it is a paste like consistency and there are no chunks
- Cook until any liquid from pumpkin has evaporated and it begins to stick to the pot
- Stir in cumin
- Serve with roti, pita or naan
Colorful pumpkins: 'Jarrahdale' has blue-green skin and makes for great decorations. 'Pepitas Pumpkin' is orange and green, and 'Super Moon' is a large white pumpkin.
