- Collect all ingredients at one place. Chop raw mango into cubes.
- Wash and cook rice.
- Grate coconut.
- Heat up ghee in a wok add asfoetida, mustard and jeera seeds.Add green cardamom, urad and chana dal.Add curry leaves,red chilli, cashews and kishmish.Saute all this well.
- Add turmeric.Now add chopped raw mango.
- Cook till they become soft.
- Add cooked rice, and salt,
- Add grated coconut.Mix well.
- Tangy rice is ready. Eat with papad,curd and salad or as it is.
