  1. On medium heat add ghee in a wide bottom pan. Once the ghee melts add in the flour and semolina and keep stirring for couple of minutes. Add in fresh cream and cook until golden brown stirring continuously.
  2. Once it's cooked turn off the gas and let the mixture cool and keep stirring. Add jaggery, saffron and cardamom and once it's incorporated with the mixture transfer in a greased tray and garnish with pistachios, khuskhus and almonds. Cut desired shape after 5 minutes. It will be ready in an hour.

Take sugar and add water till it deep. Mix food color in roasted flour. Mohanthal is a fudge made from roasting gram flour (besan) in ghee (clarified butter). This mixture is finally mixed with sugar syrup and allowed to set. It's delicious, easy to make and trust me no brand can match the freshness and taste of homemade mithai.
